In rural villages, village women have limited opportunities for earning income. For along time, weaving hanve been the traditional house industry since village women can weave at home while they still do house works, farming and childcare. Preserving and transferring traditional weaving skill is also important. In order to support village women to earn more income and improve their quality of life, the training course was developed for them. The objectives of the course are; 1．To empower village women through income generation to upgrade their quality of life. 2．To help them acquire skills of traditional Khmer Ikat weaving and natural dyeing. 3. To preserve and restore the traditional art of weaving in Cambodia. 4．To increase their knowledge on business management by strengthening the network of village weavers. 5．To provide market support for display and sale of their products and to increase their income.
